Eligibility Criteria

• For Research Studies:
  • The requesting member must be a Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Investigator (Co-I) of the study.
  • The study must be registered in NMRR and approved by MREC.
  • A full study protocol and detailed budget plan must be submitted.
  • Application will be reviewed by the Sponsorship Sub-Committee, and the decision by the Committee shall be final.

• For Journal Publications:
  • The requesting member must be an Author or Co-Author of the manuscript.
  • The journal must not be predatory.
  • The article must be accepted for publication – proof of acceptance and payment receipt must be attached.
  • The final published version of the article must be submitted for review.
  • Applications will be reviewed by the Sponsorship Sub-Committee, and the decision by the Committee shall be final.

Grant Amount

• For Research Studies:
  • The grant amount will be determined by the Committee based on the submitted study protocol and budget requirements.
• For Journal Publications:
  • Local journal: Up to RM200
  • International journal: Up to RM1,000
